Just Plain Good Car Manners!

I never have to say a word to my husband. It’s instilled in him. I snapped this photo just as he pulled out of the garage. I came out of our front door.
As soon as he saw me, he put the car in park, heaved himself out of the low-slung seat, opened the door for me, and waited until I was settled before closing the door.
He always opens and closes car doors for me. I appreciate a gentleman.
We have to put more miles on the car to pass the emissions test we were told.
. What better way than to spend time going for rides in the country on a sunny day sharing laughs. Hubs is not only a gentleman, but witty and hilarious as well.
And now we are home!

He is a real gentleman. On a lighter note, we have a joke here around the situation. If a man opens the door of his car for his wife after few years of marriage, either the wife is too beautiful or the car is new
If a woman laughs at her husband's joke after few years of marriage, either the husband is really good or the joke is really good
You are beautiful and he has a great sense of humor
Enjoy your ride

Having a good ride on a sunny day (not too hot) is great.
Here I now need to start up the AC if riding during the day time.
In short, summers have started here.
The Spring effect is there only during early mornings and late evenings.

AC running constantly. So is some caretaker living inside that place?

@DianneN If I was following another person into a store, for example, I would expect them to hold the door open for me, and if they let it slam in my face I would consider it rude. If another person was following me I would hold the door for them, no matter whether they were a man or woman, old or young, a stranger or a friend. But I wouldn't expect any man (or anyone else) to rush over and open any doors for me for no reason.

@Fleura I expect and do the same. This isn't any man. This is my husband. Only he would do that when he saw me coming. I've opened the car door myself plenty of times, but he closes it for me. I can certainly do it myself as have done most of my life, but it's just a caring, special part of him that I love.

You should take out the car at least once a week to take care of batteries. Else cars can give problems.

Oh that is a limitation. Would it be ready to be driven in snow with chains?

What a nice time for both of you. Great reason for extra rides.
