Lucky I am not allergic to cats

I seldom have a cat free moment at this time. I am pretty sure it will change at least a little once I get the cats their shots and surgeries so that they can go outdoors some.
Right now, I am on the computer, Bibsy is on my lap. It is either there or on the desk in front of the monitor.
At night Mickey has decided he must sleep on the corner of my bed near my face, so I can reach out and pet him.
Tinker has a chosen chair.
Angel believes I always need her company in the bathroom.
Lady has a chair she sleeps under, unless she is in a chair in the computer room. Or in my lap if Bibsy is not.
Of course Mickey and Tinker go outside first thing in the morning and stay there all day. Soon it will be all five of them doing so.
Right now I know the new ones are grateful to be warm and fed. They went a couple of weeks eating only garbage and mice.Living outdoors during the polar vortex. I will have to work on making sure they do not try to eat from my trash can in the kitchen. It is a habit that will have to be broken.
I am sure in the summer they will not be on my lap so much, we would all be way too hot.

You have your hands full with those furry babies of yours and you seem to enjoy it
I guess their habit of eating from trash in kitchen will break soon. I have heard that they are quick to be trained.
I am allergic to cats.

Yes, they get plenty of other food, so they do not have to eat trash. There are lots of people allergic to cats.

Cat allergy is quite common. It runs in my family. I get it from my mom and I have passed it on to my daughters.

@arunima25 That is how most allergies seem to go.

I'm allergic to cat dander but it's never stopped me from sharing space with them.

I have had cats almost all of my life. It would be hard to be allergic, and sad.

Hubby is home all of the time, so they have him as well, or they entertain each other.

I have two fur babies that sleep next to me. And they always want to be on my lap. Well, they’re typical lap dogs after all.

The cats circle around you all day. They are now "living in the lap of luxury."

I seem to have become the "crazy cat lady" that is such a stereotype.

Lucky you aren’t allergic to cats, and lucky they were able to train you so quickly.

Yes, we are lucky all around. Otherwise they would be barn cats.

I am glad I have enough rooms for them to enjoy.
