No doubt flowers in comparison are prettier but I like to click photos of buds that to my mind are pretty to look at.
These are Ixora buds and from the look I know I will get healthy flowers in a few days Ixora are hardy plants requiring little maintenance They have their own time to appear in the garden and this is the time. We have about 8 varieties.
I am happy that I have many perennial plants that guarantee colour throughout the year
What's around you?

That’s really good. I love foliage so i am surrounded by tropical plants. But when I’m traveling somewhere I like taking pictures of flowers. And yes i like taking photos of buds as well like the one I attached here.

This is the time. Poor things. They just spring from the ground - no fuss at all.

My little Apt home has a yard but I keep my plants in pots. Aloe, broadleaf plantain, a pink impatience flowering plant and red to leaf. Got a jade plant well I hope it's a jade plant. My aloe gives lots of leaves. So Time to time, I'll pluck it & put them in plastic bags hoping someone who needs them finds them. Always gone in a few hours.
My aloe in different area of my yard.

So generous of you. I have so many plants that I do not need as they crowd the garden and wonder if anyone will pick them up if I kept them outside our gate.

A bud is like a teenage girl that's ready to bloom, very beautiful indeed

Once there were many beautiful flowers, herbs and animals around my village, but after 20 years, the bamboo forest was shaved, the pond was contaminated, the fish and frogs in the stream were extinct. Many of beautiful flowers and herbs disappeared under the destroy of the pesticide and the pollution. Now i only can see a little flowers and herbs in my village.
But comparing with the city, there are still many herbs and flowers in my village,at there, things get worse.there is an iron island.

I felt sad reading your post. The so called progress is destroying nature. I have promised to keep whatever grows in my garden no matter how wild our garden looks There are wild trees and we have not uprooted them.
