Shelby began his run on Friday. Through donations to the Go Fund Me site for the not for profit charity "Vets Helping Heroes" which began in 2008 by a World War II veteran that has raised more than $8 million dollars.
So far the money raised by Shelby's run has raised more than $1,550 dollars for the charity that he believes in.
