Two persons who were trapped inside an elevator at a downtown building in Cleveland Ohio are grateful that the Cleveland Fire Department used a ladder from the 14th floor to get to the 12th floor where the two occupants which a lady who is expecting a child were trapped inside for two hours after the interior door opened but the exterior door remained closed due to a mechanical error/ Since the elevator only started at the 14th floor of the Standard Building, the rescue team had to rescue the couple from their problem at night since the problem began at 8pm. The firefighters waited with the two occupants for one hour until the technical team did their part to finish the job of getting the elevator to work once again and save the couple from mental anguish. Thanks to the actions of the firefighters as well as the tech team, no injuries happened in this incident.

If I have stairs I always go for it, I hate elevators. I am glad everything went well.

I have never gotten in an elevator I would rather take the stairs. I do not care how many stairs I would have to go up.

I remember the Standard Building in Cleveland. I'm originally from Cleveland. That's scary to be trapped in an elevator. I'm glad they were rescued.
