My break feels broken

With all the things I have had to see to while on break, it feels as if I have not had one.
Tomorrow we will actually do something fun. We will get up and drive to Nebraska. My daughter and family are visiting her inlaws and will be staying in a motel. I have not seen my son-in-law for over two years. I saw my grandkids last year just as traveling was being shut down for covid-19 precautions.
I got my second shot yesterday. My arm is a little sore and I have a bit of a headache, but otherwise I am just fine. I probably need to eat some more food.
I am ready to enjoy a sunny day today.

I got my vaccine, both doses. It has been a year since I have seen these grand kiddos. The oldest one especially looks so grown up.

We haven't visited my daughter's family for a year& 1/2 . Christmas 2019 we visited them! She stopped by once in January to see us and I went to visit her/Aubrey in Oscoda, in February. It's hard! Next year, it will all seem like a bad dream we'd rather forget.
