Balsams doing the disappearing act

We used to see the purple single balsams crowding the sides of roads during the monsoon season. We did not give them a second look. Today it is a different story. They have disappeared and so have the cultured variety that came in different colours. They resembled roses and I had them in our garden. Locall nurseries do not have seeds and online seeds do not prosper here. I miss balsams. Do you have a similar situation with flowers in your area?

Not usually but I noticed that each area of the U.S. has a dominant day lily color. Then in the other areas you can't find some colors. It's strange!!

Nature does behave in an odd manner and I am noticing lots of odd things happening here.

@allknowing The seasons here seem to be shifting! When I was small it used to be cold in September when school started. It's hot now with temps in the 90's! Same with March and April especially. April used to be warm and now you never know about March and April. The weather goes back and forth and we get sick from it. Two years ago we had SNOW twice in April. Unheard of in the south!! It's all crazy!

I don't know, I'd have to ask my husband. Then again he might not know, either.

We have lavender growing on the road at the back of our place. I don't where it has come from.

I don't pay much attention to flowers in my area. And it's very rare here to grow flowers. But my father planted aloe vera in our house
