I was checking on the local temperatures for this coming week on the local news site, and a news alert popped up. The chase for the stolen ambulance with a patient inside has ended. I tell you what, and I might be alone, but if I were a patient in a stolen ambulance I might involuntarily pee my pants.

I am suddenly reminded of an episode of Rescue 911. I feel sorry for the patient being transported.

Wow, how did that chase end? If I were that patient, I seriously would be sweatin' it big time . . . knowing how many of these pursuits end up in crashes

I think it went off the road, right after they exited the interstate. The medics had pulled into the hospital, got out to unload the patient, and a guy jumped into the ambulance and took off.

That's scary for sure. I would've had heart failure if someone hijacked the ambulance when I needed medical care.
