Empty, almost.

Cases are rising. Travelling is not an option for the tourists, thus the place is empty, almost. Before the pandemic happened, this area in Vigan City (you can google for more pictures and information ) used to be full of people, especially this month, both foreign and local tourists. To that point of you can bump from one person to another, and taking pictures can be hard since you have to watch out for horse carriages. Now... All you can see are passersby and store attendants. By the way, this area is called Calle Crisologo or the Heritage Village.

Here in the US they keep talking of what they call a fourth wave of virus. I see cases climbing in some areas, I honestly feel some people think it's over and are careless and not wearing masks or being careful at all. I've had both vaccines but I still mask up and do the distance thing. It's not over.

It’s sad how tourism industry was badly affected by the pandemic! Have you reached the minimum payout already?

The same thing happened in Louisiana during Carnival season. The streets were empty due to the lockdown.

Empty office buildings or commercial buildings also sadden me. this is the usual thing you see in Metro Manila.

It just is not safe and it is good to see that precautions are still being taken honestly. So sad though.

@Lucky15 yeah it was. The crowd was bearable though. The travel though took longer than expected since it was the holidays.
