Someone Send us Foods for Dinner

Before I go home I called my niece to cook for dinner. When the food was cooked, her friend called that she will be sending foods for dinner. Its her birthday and she's not inviting my niece to come to their house and just send food instead since social gathering is still discourage. Now, we have more than enough we can consume on the table. I hope she could have called us earlier. I'm thankful anyway for the gesture of this friend of my niece. One of her closest since high school days.

@ZedSmart nice. Good to see people still trying to live as normal as possible with this pandemic going on.

Thats how we do it in our place too whenever we can and theres an occasion we tend to give food and some snacks to friends and neighbors too. How i wish the pandemic will be over so that we can enjoy so much more of whatever it is that we use to enjoy

It's good to be near with the family because any help can be extended immediately.

@ZedSmart This is what I usually do, better to save for the day after than to overeat.

You can eat some of each (what was cooked, and what was given) then save the rest for tomorrow. You can even pack some as your work lunch. What dishes did you receive?

That's really nice of her. I would keep the extra in the fridge. Can be reheated later.

That's a shame you had too much food. Hopefully it will keep until you're able to eat it all.
