I have never been much of a fan of Spungebob, but I can't help but shake my head when I hear about stuff like this. It's like we no longer have morals or values. Too afraid to hurt someone's feelings. You know, people need their feelings hurt and need to cry and get it out of their systems. They need to grow and they can't do that, if they don't deal with pain.

@CarolDM Is it true they canceled Pepply La'pue, too? If this keeps happening, nothing's going to be left. Funny enough, this isn't the first time a cartoon or episode(s) of a cartoon was "banned" due to "sensitive content" yet, cartoons got away with a lot back in the day.

The show is all about tolerance. Creator Stephen Hillenburg had a degree in marine biology, and one of the jokes of the show is that Patrick, the starfish, is best friends with SpongeBob, when in “real life” one of the predators of a sponge is a starfish. And then there’s that Texas squirrel living underwater, and a whale who has a crab for a father......

It never ceases to amaze me what offends people on innocent cartoons geared towards young children. I've seen the cartoon many times with my grandchildren. I found it funny.

Is this why your picture is of him? Lol. I used to like watching the show. It was actually what the fiance and i had on tv the first day we met when we went to the hotel to hang out

. But i started not liking episodes few years ago. Just randomly dont even know why. Lol.

I find we have become too sensitive, touchy, and as a result, some innocent jokes are even misinterpreted. I think we are restricting our freedom with such an attitude.
