If you have a coupon for it

If you have a coupon for something, it makes you more prone to buy it. At least it does hubby.
He came up with a coupon for Subway sandwiches, so wanted them tonight.
For various reasons he has had a difficult day and he said "I am just tired of messing with stuff". So I said "yes", you can go get them and you can choose what we get.
He did, and it was delicious with lots of fresh vegetables on it.
So, tonight we did not mess with stuff.
Just a couple of plates to rinse off. Last day of the work week for me tomorrow.
Supper ready for tomorrow as well.

@much2say We have not been overly cautious this last week, but will tighten up and get there again soon. We have both been vaccinated.

If I had gone we would have likely eaten there because my friend Jane and her husband came in while hubby was ordering. We do eat out occasionally now. Kansas does not have as many cases as some other states.

@GardenGerty Always fun to run into friends! The cases are supposedly going down in Los Angeles CA but still . . . we are going to stay cautious as we have been for a little while longer still.

Why is that bad? I like meatballs for a lot of things.

If we have cupons, it's usually for things or brands we don't need or use. So, we don't buy anything.

The Subway coupon was a good deal, because we do get their sandwiches. We even have gift cards on hand to use.

@GardenGerty We should have some of those, as often as George buys subs for me there, but we don't.

@BelleStarr That could make a difference. I prefer this Subway over others because it seems fresher

@GardenGerty I like them better, they slice the meat and cheese fresh for the sandwiches.

I usually do not look, and we do not get a paper, but Bob had picked a free paper up that had inserts, or my sister gave him some.

This was a buy one, get one free for a 12 inch sub. That means two full meals for us. I do not use coupons a lot.

The loyalty card we use the most earns us money off of fuel for the car.

I had a gift card in my purse to spend on Subway. We got four times card value for fuel when I bought it. So a money maker for us.

Sounds like the coupon came in handy and you had a nice meal and less mess to clean up.

I often get coupons and I use them to buy things that I would not normally buy. I have never eaten a Subway sandwich , but they do look nice though.

There are so many choices involved. The closest Subway to us is owned by a family who also has a grocery store. It seems to have the best ingredients.

Sounds like you had an enjoyable dinner with no worries, I always loved Subway but it is far from where I live. You did give me the idea to check if they deliver

I love both coupons and Subway. There is a Subway at the Walmart where I usually do my grocery shopping. I have a Subway gift card that I got as a gift. I always think I should bring supper home from Subway after I do my grocery shopping, but of course always forget the gift card at home. I need to put it in my purse so I will have it next time.

My dentist gave me a Subway gift card for my birthday last year. It took me a while to remember to bring it with me. My grocery gives fuel points for purchases and sometimes 4x fuel points on gift cards. We buy them when we are going to take a trip, then I have a special folder with my food gift cards in it. Just need to remember to take it. Supper after shopping sounds great.

. Oh gosh, but we haven't eat out for over a year now!

Coupons here are everywhere, but you have to spend a certain amount to avail them.
The more you spend, the more you save i guess.
