There have been discussions about this topic in the recently concluded Miss Grand International 2020 held in Thailand.
The final question was about one dose of COVID-19 vaccine left. Who would you give it to? To a 15-year old or to a senior citizen of 70 years old?
The USA and Guatemala will give it to the 15-year old because he is the future. He can set good example to this world.
The Philippines will give it to the senior citizen, because the 15-year old had the stamina but the older person is vulnerable to the virus.
Who would you choose?

We seniors have already lived our lives. And we have survived to many problems. But the 15 year old needs a life with no possible side effects of covid. And you never know. I would protect the young.

@jobelbojel I know how terrible it is for a child to die.

Yes, exactly. I have the same answer. Of course, I love the senior but if I give the last dose to a 15-year old teen, he or she will go a long way.

I like her answer. But my view is that USA and Guatemala were right, the young one deserves the last dose. Seniors can stay indoors and the kid can have the vaccine. He will go along way.

Oh yes, I should mention it. I would give it to the 15-year teen. The senior already experienced the life but the teen is just starting to understand and learn about it.

I would give the last dose of COVID vaccine to the senior citizen because the 15 year old kid is more capable of surviving COVID infection.

I will give it to the senior citizen too because young people have stronger immune system than old people

The senior citizen gets the vaccine for me. The 15 year old still has the health capacity against the virus. The same cannot be said about the senior.

I would give it to the 70-year-old because he/she has a greater risk of dying from the virus. The 15-year-old has a better chance of survival.

Would give it to the senior citizen as the kid has the tendency to have a stronger immune system
