Quick question for the experienced ones

As I'm new here, I'm still not sure how this works? Am I supposed to get paid just for having questions answered? Is there a minimum, how much it pays and how often is updated?
Does it work the other way around as well? If I answer to others? I've red the faqs but I can't see anything about it

The best way to use myLot is to interact with other members and get yourself known. You can do this by making comments on other members discussions or starting your own discussions.

You need to earn at least $5 before you can get paid and that is done via PayPal. You have to provide your PayPal email here for that to happen. You get paid next month for the previous month's earnings if you made $5 the previous month. If you didn't those earnings get carried over to the next month. They will keep rolling over until you reach $5 and then you get paid,
Anything that you do on this site does not earn you anything. You only earn when other people respond to your discussions, responses, or comments. I believe you also earn if they hit 'like' on anything you post here.

Well my friend I was just like you when I just begun you just have to post things not question just posting that people will discuss on this post what is on your mind like before you going to do in the day or whatever and you have to respond to other people post to earn money

The way that earnings work is described in the Earnings Program FAQs which you can find under "Help" in the menu beneath your username or in the drop-down menu on the right under the dollar amount you have earned.
In essence, you are paid according to how much 'interaction' your posts receive from others in the way of responses, comments, 'likes' and even just 'views'. exactly how much that is has never been disclosed and, in any case, is liable to vary from time to time, depending on how much is available, after expenses have been deducted, to distribute amongst the users.
In any case, myLot earnings will never amount to more than 'pin money' (although I have potentially bought a new laptop with what I have earned over the years) . Once you have earned $5 or more by the end of any month, you will be eligible for payout before the 15th of the following month. Once you have read an understood the Guidelines and get into the swing of posting discussions which attract 'interactions' (and one of the best ways is to interact with others), you'll find it's not too difficult to make at least $5 a month.
