Are you doing anything special for Easter?

I'm heading to a friend's house for Easter dinner and some music later in the afternoon. I think my duties are to bring Coke and wine (yes, capitalization matters). First, I'm going to head to Walmart and get some stuff. Then I think I'll change the strings on one of my guitars. After that, it's party time! Happy Easter! I'll attach a photo of the Indian Paintbrush I saw on my hike the other day.

Sort of an unplanned, planned Easter dinner with the fam. I bought a ham on sale at Aldi on Saturday and just planned to cook it for the wife and I, and then somehow word got out and so the fam is coming over to help us eat it. lol. Your evening sounds like fun, and I am reminded I have to restring one of my electrics and one of my acoustics. I have the strings, I just need to do it.

Yep. Same here. Sometimes I stare at my guitar, stare at my new strings, and then go back to typing. Enjoy your ham! And remember to remove your mask while eating!

God påske! Easter goes on for nearly 1.5 week here, so it's getting close to the end. No plans, mainly glaring at the weather. Want some storm and snow? If that doesn't suit you, just wait an hour or two, and you'll have something completely different ...

@TheHorse Maybe the bottle of Glenlivet would be even better with some storm and snow? Sitting inside, drinking, listening to the big outside.

Heh. They say that here too. It's just partly cloudy and chilly today. Nothing special. I'd prefer a bottle of Glenlivet to storm and snow. Thanks in advance!

@Torunn That sounds like fun! I enjoy teaching physics to preschool kids. I'm always thinking "center of gravity" when we build stacky towers. And the "physics of music" when I show them how fat strings sound deeper than skinny strings on my guitar.

The Indian Paintbrush is pretty and unique. I'm not planning anything unless my daughter tells me to come up for the egg hunt. It's another day here this year. I couldn't get up in time for church. They started way too early and mornings are off my schedule right now.

I hope you had a lovely time. It was just the two of us; and we ate our Easter ham prior to Easter. We were going to get a pizza; but they opened late; so I had meat loaf!

yesterday was a busy busy day for you. mine was hectic also, but in the end got to have Easter Dinner with family and reflect on the happiness that brings! i didn't see any pretty wildflowers so attached please find a picture i took of a polar bear in artic whiteout conditions pasted below this text.
