Easter dinner

For those of you who celebrate it, happy Easter! For those who do not, happy Sunday! I hope your weather was as nice as ours was today.
We just finished our celebratory dinner a little while ago. We had Coca-cola glazed ham, funeral potatoes, bacon-wrapped asparagus, buttered carrots, rolls, and my youngest daughter made ambrosia.
I also had pickled beets and made some pickled eggs that I meant to pull out, but I forgot and left them in the fridge.
I am quite full now.
What did you have for dinner today? Did you eat anything special?

@spiderdust Here it's not yet strawberry season, but those I bought came from Spain and they were really delicious.

@LadyDuck Our strawberry season should start in another month, and I'm so looking forward to good ripe berries!

That sounds lovely! I would have liked strawberries and whipped cream for dessert myself, but the strawberries aren't quite in season yet and the only ones in the store are the hard, not-quite-ripe ones.

That all sounds delicious. I don't know why, but we didn't do an Easter dinner this time. We usually do something, but neither one of us even thought of it. Too busy with work, I think. But we always do Thanksgiving and Christmas. Plus Birthday stuff.

Your dinner sounds great. Happy Easter to you and your family! I made myself some fried potatoes with onions and chopped corned beef for my dinner,

It was far too much carbs and sugar, but we'll eat much healthier today.

I haven't had ham for a while though. Just mostly milkfish and noodles.

We made a turkey and mashed potatoes. And before my mom got home with ice cream, after work, I had two dinner rolls because I was hungry and didn't want to wait for dinner to have them lol
