Counseling appointment over

Just finished my appointment with the psychologist. It was pretty much worthless. I didn't have anything to talk about. Haven't seen the ex lately, haven't been to work yet, don't go anywhere, etc. Still I keep up with the appointments every 3 weeks. At least it is someone else to talk to besides my neighbors. So that is done until April 27. Living the dream.

I feel that this covid lockdown is so much like prison that I don´t have much to say.

True but we have nothing to do but just abide by the measures.

@Laurakemunto Half of my country is ignoring the measures, which is making it more stressful and prison-like for those of us who are trying to do the right thing.

Have you been going to the psychologist appointment in person or have you been doing it through Zoom Meetings (because of the pandemic)?

Before I made the life-changing decision to retire from my high-stress job, I was seeing a psychologist every other week, mostly to deal with the buildup of anxiety I'd been having in my last few years at the job. Although the appointments weren't the greatest thing in the world, my psychologist was very helpful in providing me materials to help me understand my stress better, as well as exercises to help me deal with my anxieties. There were no "ah-ha" moments, but I felt the visits were mostly useful in helping me get over some humps in my life.

I go every 3 months, mainly just to renew my meds. They're still on virtual; so we won't have our usual trip to Texas Roadhouse which is close by. :-(
