Took a ride to the local park just now. Such a beautiful day. Love seeing all of the huge trees. Squirrels running around. Birds singing. Spring is definitely in the air. We reached 80 degrees again today. A great day for a walk in the park. So refreshing to breathe in the fresh air and sunshine. No masks. Just all the fresh air you can handle. Snapped a photo of one of many massive trees at the park.

That is why I like walking along the canal, lots of trees and plenty of green!

Nice pic. It was close to 80 here as well and very hot in the sun. It is going to be a long summer.

I have several beautiful parks within minutes of where I live, and I always love going for morning or evening strolls through them. I always feel so much happier and relaxed after being in a park. Glad you had such a wonderful experience in your local park.

@CarolDM Oh yes, we have to enjoy it while we can before the heat and the humidity arrive. I'm definitely not looking forward to that.

@Courtlynn Since they are so big there is a lesser chance of getting knocked down. These can be climbed.

@CarolDM That’s true. I treasure old trees and it makes me sad when they’re being cut down to pave way to some government structures.

It's good to see leaves on the trees there. It will be another month before our trees have leaves but that's okay. It's gorgeous here today too but our temps will be high seventies rather than the eighties as expected. The slightly cooler temps will make it easier for us to finish our window job shortly.

Good to know that you are able to roam without mask. Over here, one can't as hefty fine is imposed on people not wearing it. Lovely picture by the way
