My left eye just turned red

Just now, when I looked at the mirror, I noticed that my left eye is so red. It does not feek itchy or what . But prior to this, I simply scratched it the other day because of very small fur in it. My dog's tiny furs fly around no matter how often I mop the floor or even if he is trimmed already. Hope it returns to its natural color. Because it looks like that one in horror movie.

You can use an eye wash solution to clean your eyes. Maybe the tiny fur is still there stuck on your eyeball.

Maybe you just need to rest your eyes for a while. I also have them when I get to be exposed to watching tv or computer screen.

@Janet357 I suspect it’s allergic reaction to your dog’s fur. Better ask for medical opinion they might have some suggested meds for that.

It will if you stop messing with it. You can always run cold water over your eyes, or close your eyes and let your own tears clean it out.

It will return to normal, those are probably just irritated blood vessels and it's going to go back to normal. Some eye drops or wash might help.

@Janet357 is it still there? The redness should've lessened by now.

i dont think hospitals are free to entertain this very minor problem they are busy with covid

I got red eyes these days mainly from allergies (to foodstuff, grass, etc). The first time that happened, the emergency at the hospital cleaned my eyes and gave me some antihistamine eyedroplet. I was skeptical of their treatment at first, but it worked like a charm within half a day (I had suffered that for two days), so since then, I always keep those stuff at home.
