Today Is A Good Day To Have A Good Day

Happy Thursday Everyone! it's a bright sunny day here today and it's supposed to get much warmer by afternoon. If that happens I might even be able to sit outside for awhile. Started the day by stripping my bed and the sheets are in the wash. I know we've had this conversation before and how many of us love the smell of clean sheets. My son and his family are coming on Saturday for a quick visit. We'll do pizza for lunch and then they'll be on their way home. My daughter in law is going in for surgery on her shoulder on Tuesday so they have things to do to prepare for her hospital stay and her recovery when she comes home. Food shopping is tops on their list so the boys can fend for themselves. At least my grandsons are pretty self sufficient ( ages 15 and 12 ) and my son is quite able to cook, clean and take care of everything. While he's here I'm hoping we can make a plan for him to do my deck. A few boards need replacing and then it has to be stained. I know he won't be able to do it until his wife is recovered and he can finish up the big job he's working on. He's always so busy that I hate to ask but I'd rather wait and have him do it than try to find someone locally who can. Besides my son is cheaper Since the weather has been so nice I'm already thinking of all the time I want to spend outside. At the end of the fall season last year the landscapers who take care of our bushes hacked one of my bushes to stubs. So far it still doesn't look like it has any life left in it but I"m hoping it comes back to life. If not then I have to see if the bush will be replaced through our HOA or if I have to replace it myself. We also got a small power washer last summer that worked really well for cleaning the sidewalk and the front porch. Once it gets warmer that will be on our list before we start using the porch to sit outside. As for today....not much going on. I finished my coffee and breakfast and now it's time to get going.
