Where has Spring gone?

Locally April 8 is supposed to be our last danger of frost.
Let me tell you, this year that is not the case.
All this week we will have freezing temperatures overnight.
I brought in all of my houseplants. I did not put many out yet due to having heard that we are going to have cooler than normal temperatures.
I guess that will give me something to do in May.

It is not that cold here, but it is too cold at night for houseplants.

I think people are going to have to adjust, because you cannot persuade nature to follow our rules and expectations.

I am not even sure I will plant this year. I just wanted the houseplants to go outdoors for a while.

We've been having low overnight temps, too, and will continue for the rest of the week, but I don't think we'll get freezing ones. I've put a couple pots out during warm sunny days a few times, but brought them back in for the night.

I’ve noticed that CPC temperature forecast map has A LOT of blue (for below average temperatures) on it. 
Oh well, at least it isn’t snowing. (Although there are winter storm watches in the far northeast. 
)

As I sit here on our couch, myLotting, sipping my coffee and watching the news, I am surrounded by the outdoor pots of flowers that we brought in last night. I do not know if they will go back out during the day today.
Its a cold 3C here at 7:40am, we are having the same colder weather.
This is typical in the spring, we are up and down, we just don't like to remember the down. 
We had snow during the first week of May last year, I don't wish for that, but I know it is possible.

our weather here in Florida has given me a crazy head. It was so cold for a while and then out of the blue came the hight temps then mixed with cooler and I feel my head spinning,
