New slippers for me

We have had friends staying the last two days. They have had a short caravan trip in our area and called in on us. It was good to see them. Yesterday, we headed south to Bridgetown then to Nannup before returning home. The weather was warm and sunny and the countryside very beautiful.
We went into a few of the shops and I couldn’t resist buying these slippers. They are made of that lovely soft plush material. When we move into the lifestyle village, I won’t be tempted to wear them outside as there is hardly any ‘outside’. It will be winter here too soon so my toes will be toasty warm.
Our friends will head home mid-morning and we’ll start loading the trailer and car with items that we hope to sell at the two car boot (garage/yard) sales that we’re attending on Saturday and Sunday.

It was wonderful having your friends visit and your new slippers are very pretty! Your feet will be nice and warm, all winter long:) We had a rummage sale a while back and got rid of many things we didn't want or need

@DocAndersen Vince has some bright red sneakers and calls them his 'pope' shoes. (The pope wears red slippers). Vince says if they're good enough for Frank, they're good enough for him! lol

Nice sunburst looking slippers. Mine are grey...nothing to look at, but they are warm, sturdy and useful. I have them on right now..as it is chilly for this time of the year.

@JudyEv I have a pair of snow boots that have that soft plush material inside, yet are rugged and waterproof on the outside. They are very comfortable to wear, and keep my feet toasty and warm. I'm sure your slippers will do the same thing.
