While out getting our COVID vaccine, we took the long ride home. Many farms and landscapes to see along the way.
I spotted baby sheep on a farm. And a farmer was pulling out of his driveway on a John Deere four-wheeler. We stopped and asked him if we could see his baby sheep. I know they are lambs but I have always called them baby sheep.
He said, well of course. Just drive around to the back of the house and look all you want. So cool to still see farmer's these days that welcome you into their yards.
First of all his two dogs greeted us at the pasture gate. They were friendly. They followed us around. Saw several chickens in their coop. Then on to the sheep and baby sheep.
Snapped many photos of them staring at me. Probably wondering if I was going to feed them perhaps. So cute to see these animals up close.
As far as I could see there were sheep, and acres of farmland. Just beautiful. He also had goats in another pasture.
I did not go into the pasture to pet them, but they were just over the fence. Made my day for sure. More of those little things in life to enjoy.

What a wonderful experience, I love doing things like this! I'm glad you had such a nice time:) I adore sheep! Beauty is everywhere, if we're willing to look for it.
One time I drove two of our grandkids past a farm, to admire horses through the fence:)

How cool! It was really nice of him to let you into his yard. We have an alpaca farm a few miles from us; and I've always wanted to see the alpaca close up and pet them.

They used to have an open house once a year; but we haven't seen the alpacas in about a year or so. Don't know if they still have them. They might be in the back pasture behind the barn.
