I can't but I can.

My niece gave me three chapters of their modules on statistics, and just looking at it, I am sure I haven't learned the topic in college, terms might be familiar but...
Three chapters took me three days, hence the absent on the site. Why is that? I have to figure the figures on how "things work", I have her modules, I have youtube opened and more sites open, needed a lot. Their modules didn't give the step by step process which should be important., I felt like i was in this dark room, trying to get hold on to something that will guide me to the door.
With all the "resources" I have watched and read, I made it through and help her out. Yeah, feels like patience is the key with statistics..
Oh well... I can't but I can get some help on the internet.
Do you look out for some "help" in the internet too?

Its not that teachers do not explain. Considering the situation, its also difficult for them.

Teachers can be very abusive and ignorant in some cases.

Many teachers assume you know things now and don't bother explaining it to you. This isn't good. When Pretty was learning "New Math", I had a lot of trouble with it. The way I learned math still worked, but the teacher wanted to see the student's work, which I couldn't figure out. Not even her text books explained it.
I went to the school and made the teacher explain it to me. She tried to tell me it wasn't her job to explain things to me but the school Principal told her it was her job to make sure the parent could help the students when they ask for help. She wasn't happy but she did explain it. (Remember, we are talking about before the internet was a thing. I'm old! )

@Lucky15 I told her to stop giving homework if they weren't going to explain how to do it if/when a parent asked. That's when the principal got involved in it.

@DaddyEvil homework for me is like an extension of what they have learned in school, like a "practice work" :(

I have had to do this in the past when working on academic subjects with students.

That is the disadvantage of going online classes. Its not that teachers are not explaining things but considering the situation, things are getting difficult for teachers, parents and mostly students.
