Today (Thursday's) Agenda

We are marked for a beautiful sunny day today so hubby has planned to do mowing and yard work at our house in Louisiana. I have a trip on to go visit my mother and get her social security check re-routed after the fraud earlier this month. So we are combining efforts and only making one trip in one vehicle.
I am hoping that we don't have to stay on hold for long with Social Security. I found out at the end of last week that all offices were closed in Baton Rouge and called to find out how we can get this done since her old account was closed.

Hopefully this time of year you won't be on hold long with SS. Hope you can straighten things out. Good luck. Nothing planned for today. It's warming into the 40s today; and I'm hoping that the s**w will melt off the trees, etc. (see my recent post).

In the fall the lady in the office told me she was going to have her SS check come to the nursing home. In Feb. I asked about status of that. She claimed she never told me that. I told her yes she did, it is in my notes. Subject dropped. Today, she tells me that paperwork has been done to have SS check come there. So whatever. It would have been nice for her to let me know.

No, it’s not warm, but it is nice looking. I think I’ll take a drive out to LaGrange and listen to the Reds game (although I’m not going out to LaGrange just to listen to the Reds game 
).

The best of luck to you. Just a quiet day working at my laptop, When you mentioned mowing it made me chuckle, My late husband always said to be quiet in the garden when it got to springtime and I remember asking him why? and he replied he does not want the grass to know that it si time to grow

Hope you're able to get your moms social security check straightened out without too much hassle.
