Turkey Burgers for Dinner

I ate two turkey burger patties on long sour dough bread slices, with mayonnaise and mustard, lettuce, ketchup, and a couple slices of Velveeta. I maybe should have left the cheese off of it, doesn't sit with me well. It was good and surprisingly filling. Well, it was a lot of food. Had some chips too. Ended up drinking a couple of glasses of iced water. I'm still thirsty in fact. Anyway, it was good.

I haven't touched Velveeta in forty years. The sandwich sounds tasty but overall, there is a lot of salt there and that is why you are thirsty.

What's funny is my girlfriend bought this stuff and she's always worried about salt. And now that I look at that picture I do see there is a lot of salt there.

@NateB11 I love most varieties of cheese. My ankles are always swollen. I need to cut back on tasty stuff like cheese.

I think. We have cheeses that are white. Like white cheddar or Monterey Jack.

Sounds like a good meal. I'm making chicken fried rice. Hubby's idea.

It's a little different, hard to describe. Not as fatty as a beef burger. They're not bad. I'd rather have ground beef but I like turkey burgers.

I have always had difficulty getting ground turkey to do good for me. Just something about the texture. But your sandwiches still look good even if I'd opt for good old fashioned ground beef.

I'm not particularly a fan of turkey burger, and I prefer ground beef. I guess I eat turkey burger because my girlfriend got it at the store and I do want to eat healthier
