April 24 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been good.
I'm thankful for waking up and getting notifications started for today. I'm hoping to finish them today.
I'm thankful for the shopping I did this morning. I have all my canisters filled and sitting on my counter instead of individual bags taking up space in my pantry.
I'm thankful for the nap I got earlier. One hour was all I needed.
I'm thankful for the work I did on an older manuscript that isn't finished yet. A few necessary editing due to research into the time period has this story doing well. It's called A Heart Divided. Yes, this one is a romance. I started it in 2013. At least that was the date on the file when I opened it a couple of days ago. This one is historical set during the Great Depression.
I'm thankful for the brownies, seen in the picture above. I know it calls for 35 minutes in the oven. However, the last time, the center wasn't done, so I put it for 45 and added another ten minutes when the toothpick still didn't come clean. I hope it's not burned on the bottom. I have the overflow pan in the oven for 35 minutes. It's a shallow 8x8 pan. It looks like I'll have a pan to myself. I hope I don't bring any home tomorrow. I might need to find room in the freezer for the leftovers.
I'm thankful for getting all the dishes in the dishwasher. It's going for the second time today.

Nice. I'm thankful for my day. Did my laundry, where someone put paper towel in my washer. I forgave and gave the situation to God to remedy. Thankful for not loosing my lucky Shamrock and being able to Super Glue it back on its ring. Thankful for my dinner, I'll be eating soon.

That sounds like quite the productive day. You should be proud.
I'm thankful that our shopping trip went well. We forgot a birthday card for my mother-in-law, but it's not considered a successful trip to the store if something isn't forgotten.

I hope so. I don't want to bring any home. I know from past experience, the desserts go fast. I'm glad they didn't decide to divide it up according to the alphabet. I would have been stuck with a side dish again. I was getting tired of side dishes all the time.

I am thankful that my medicines from the local pharmacy came in yesterday afternoon and my print cartridge came in today.
