Well, today is the day for me to get my Pfizer vaccine.
My appointment is at 11:00 A.M. and I am getting a bit antsy.
I am not afraid of the vaccine shot per se, but worried about the
possible side effects.
Were you anxious about getting your injection too?
I am trying to calm my nerves here, not easy.

@marlina did you have a lot of immunizations as a child? (I got a lot traveling overseas when I was 11 years old).

I was. I think its because they keep talking about the few bad reactions that people have had.

@marlina I hope you dont either. I just had a sore arm both times. The second shot I did get very tired but a nap fixed that.

No, I wasn't nervous. I knew what to expect. With the first shot I just had a really sore arm. My husband had the chills. With the second shot we just had really sore arms. There are many other side effects that you can get; but if you know about them, then they aren't scary. Good luck!

That`s good. Pfizer is really good. Never heard of its side effects on people around here so far. I hope it goes well for you too

I heard all the different things from various friends - so I figured it's different for everyone. Knowing what the side effects could be, but also knowing it may be mild, I didn't want to get worked up until I had reason to. We got our 1st Pfizer early April - it was fine. Our 2nd is next weekend. I've heard many times to stay hydrated before and after - be sure to drink a lot of water!!

I am SO happy for you that you are getting your turn to roll up your sleeve.
I understand your concerns with all of the stories that we hear.
But remember, we are all unique, and you hopefully will be fine, that is my wish for you.
I will think of you in 3 hours when I know that it is about your turn, and smile and send you all of the positive vibes that I can.

Yes, I was worried about getting it. My daughter and I got the Moderna shot on the 20th. I was very sleepy after getting it but my daughter had an upset stomach, headache and her arm hurt. That only lasted two days, though.
I'm sure everything will be fine and you won't have any problems at all.

My daughter got her first shot (Pfizer) and had no side effects. Hope you didn't have any either.

@marlina I hope all went well with getting the shot! I am personally not wanting to get it. Please no offence! Just something I personally do not want.
But I am truly wishing you well for not getting any unwanted side effects!
