I bought Alexa dot but I don´t know how to install it.

I am technologically dumb. I was born before the middle of the last century. I used typewriters, ball point pens (those were miracles too) and normal black phones.
The letters in the typewriter were black with a white background. It took me ages to accept these white letters.
Now, after I fell, a fellow lotter (probably younger) told me to buy an Alexa. I did.
But I don´t know how to install it even though I don´t want it to sing.
I will see now how it can be done. My brother gave up too. But he bought it for me and I paid it including the shipping.

@marguicha We are going to buy the SOS button, you can wear it as a wrist watch or as a necklace, it is enough to press the button if you have problems and you hear the voice of someone who asks what do you need, which kind of emergency and so on. It is called "SmartLife Care" here

It's something you can connect to your Amazon account, and while I'm a tech nerd, I'd need a lot more details to help you trouble shoot. Have you figured out how to power it on and charge it? Those are the first two things you should try. When you power on any device for the first time, especially a voice-powered assistant, it'll ask you to select your desired language. Quite often, once you have it on, it'll walk you through the set-up process. Or you can search "how to set up Alexa" on Amazon's website. It'll direct you on how to get started.

I will try. My brother installed Alexa´s app in my notebook but he could not do it in my smartphone.
