Wren Marsh is being praised by the faculty and her fellow students at West Clermont High School in Union Township after she used the Heimlich maneuver to save the life of her fellow student Samantha Jordan last month when two students were having lunch in the cafeteria.
Wren jumped into action when Samantha started choking on a rice crispy treat. Wren who knows how to use the life saving maneuver after she was certified after she completed her lifeguard course admitted that using the life saving maneuver for the first time scared her since she to make two tries to successfully remove the food particle from Samantha's throat so she could breathe again.
Wren was thanked by Samantha for saving her life inside of the cafeteria one month ago. They have become close friends since that fateful day.

Really a great post. So glad the other girl knew what to do. I am sure the one choking was happy with the results.

Sometimes not even medical teams know how to do that on time. Good for Wren!
