Neighbor Allowed Donkey Photo Shoot

Was out running another errand earlier. Such a gorgeous day. Getting a little warm, reaching 80 degrees today.
Coming back I spotted these two donkeys in my neighbor's yard. Down the road just less than a mile or so. She was outside and said I was welcome to take photos.
So I started clicking and they kept walking towards me. The fence was between us. Funny how the darker one kept trying to hide behind the lighter colored one.
She invited me to come back any time to visit. And I will do that.
Such cuties made me smile. Had to share. Little things in life keep me going.

It certainly looks like the darker one is shy.
Very cute and what a nice gesture!
Yesterday, while walking, one of my neighbors on the next street said hello to me. I said hello back, of course, and got to thinking of how often I've heard her greet me. Makes me smile.

A friend's mom wants alpacas. Her land is somewhat big enough for them, but she wants to find a bigger piece of land and have a few farm animals.

@CarolDM We aren't in a subdivision; but we do have some around. How much land do you have? We have 1.25 acres.

Donkeys are awesome.
There used to be a sanctuary for them up the road but it's gone now
It's a real pity
Yvonne and I used to go and feed them quite often on nice days.
The Donkeys in the picture look great.

Aww sweet...I like when I see critters around. Whenever I see animals like that I always wish I had apples or carrots for them. Of course I wouldn't give them anything without checking with the owner though.
