Today I´ll make my hot chili jam.

I´m slowly doing what I need to do to take to Dixie´s next Sunday. Today I will make some hot chile and sweet pepper jam to serve over Philadelphia cream cheese with crackers. It will be part of my appetizers when we are watching Felipe´s concert. Do you buy appetizers or do you make some at home?

I mostly make appetizers at home. I prefer home made stuffs over store bought ones. I never heard of hot chilli jam. I find it interesting as chillies are something hot and spicy while jam is always something sweet. It must be interesting preparation.

I dice them very small and as they give out water while simmering, I add sugar. Easy.

I always make the hot chili jam, one with red peppers and another with jalapeños. I never buy appetizers I always make at home.

When my husband was live I was lazy. I bought cheeses and Greek olives. Now that I´m alone, I want to eat as I did before but I want to spend less.

@marguicha Your apricot brandy must be delicious. I hope that my little fig trees will give me more fruits this year, the figs jam is very good with mature cheese.

Reminds me of chili pepper water, my Mom made. I buy it. I like Tobasco Sauce, very mild.
