Fall is quickly turning into winter, friends and my eyes don´t see much without sunlight.
So here I am, doing everything with artificial lights.
Fortunately, the LED lights are not expensive. I used to spend a lot more on electricity years ago.
Do you have only LED lights in your home now? I have had them for several years.

Yes, all the lights here are LEDs. Electricity is too expensive not to have the new bulbs.

@marguicha When Pretty and I moved into our old house our first electric bill was $120 USD the first month. I told her that was too much so we bought LED bulbs for the whole house. Our electric bill the next month was $55 USD. The bulbs at that time were expensive but they still paid for themselves in three months.

@marguicha I think we are going to be in for a very hot summer here. The weather has been so cranky and unpredictable this past year or so.

Always have LED lights. It lasts longer and it is more cost-efficient compared to the regular bulbs.

Most of our bulbs are LED ones. However I still have Tubelights that are of a different kind.
Yet I try to use them judiciously.

I am not sure I understand what LED lights actually are so cannot answer the question. I am glad they save on your electricity bills.

When you go into a store that sells light bulbs, look on the package. It will tell you if the bulbs are incandescent (old style) light bulbs or LED (light emitting diodes). LED light bulbs use tiny little circuits to make light and use way less power than CFL (incandescent) lights do.

I know we have new light bulbs; but I don't know what they are. We spend a lot on electricity, especially my husband. He has his lights, TV and heater on 24/7.

Where did you buy your light bulbs, Linda? If you got them at Walmart, then they are LED bulbs since Walmart quit selling incandescent (CFL) bulbs three or four years ago.
If you are still using CFL bulbs, you should really think about switching to LED bulbs. They save most people about $50 USD a month on their electric bill.
