It’s been raining heavily the past 3 days. Many areas in Mauritius has been affected by flood. Finally the sun is out today. Hopefully it doesn’t rain that much again and those person can repair the damage caused by flood. Have you ever face flooding?

I have never faced flooding because perhaps geography favours me. But looking at the face of the experience, it really scares

Yes, I have. It was bad. Was stuck in heavy rainfall once. On our side of the street, it was a small flood situation. Also, it's India so with every rainfall there are small floods here and there.

That's terrible. I'm sorry to hear that. No, I haven't faced flooding, but my brother has. Not long after he moved house, it flooded. Because he moved to a small house near the river and the river flooded. We went to visit him soon after and he'd had to take up the carpet because that was ruined and he had a humidifier to get rid of the dampness that was still around. But I bet it was no near as bad as where you are.

Yes, we also had flood warnings the last three days. The big culvert behind our house is full again. I hope everything is fine there now.
