Why Does This Happen?

Sometimes you feel like you found the right person with whom you get along so well. They are the one whom you can trust and whenever they need help you are there. You always support them. Then they selfishly leave. I am talking about today's friends. Specially online friends. Mostly just use you for their own advantage and when they got what they wanted they just leave. They start to ignore you and pretend to be normal while they are not. It's almost impossible to find one good friend with whom you can share things without being judged. A friend who would support you morally when you are going through bad times. I remember crying so much just because I found out my friend lied to me saying her brother was going to pic her up after school just because she didn't want to walk back home with me. Well to be honest the only best friend I got is my husband for the moment. What about you have you ever experienced fake friendship?

I had three best friends in school. One of them was a trouble maker. She'd speak with the other girls, to shun and ignore me at times. Why? This wasn't fighting, it was meanness! Then, she would speak with me and one girl, to gang up on the other girl and ignore her It was painful, when it was my turn Why did she do this? I really don't know.

That's so bad. So sad to hear But hey ever hear of Karma? When it'll get her then she'll know how it feels. And if you're lucky God will let you see it.

Husband can be your best friend. One who can understand you, can guide you, protect you.

I have unfortunately experienced this with many people. I have very few people I call friends. They are a treasure.

So sorry to hear. It's better to have few real friends than a lot of fake friends.

Nothing wrong with your husband being your best friend. In fact that's a good thing. Isn't it?

Yes, many times. But that doesn't stop me from making friends. Friends are like family, some are there in your happy memories, some in your sad ones. But they are there.

I relate to that so much, my best friend of 7 years abandoned me, and yes it's been years since then and I still can't get over it, it hurts so bad seeing her treating other people the way I wanted to be treated. But hey, I joined university 2 years ago and found the best friend group ever, whom I can cry to without being judged so it still might happen you never know!

I am glad to know there is a group like that. They need more groups like this.

Yes, I have... But that's okay. I look at it as they are the ones missing out on my friendship, not the other way around. It does hurt for a while but we get over the hurt and move on.

I do move on as well but it still hurts whenever I think about them. Thank you so much...I never thought of it that way. They are the one missing out on my friendship.

It happens. Some people are just users and that's just an unfortunate truth. It's why the old saying, "You can count your friends on one finger" usually is true.

My own experience is when someone is close to me, at that time in the business world where we both struggle to get customers. Behind his attitude which looked very sweet & kind to me, it turned out that he had given bad stories about myself to superiors as well as customers. So that I had to lose that important profession at that time, the main source of income for money was destroyed because of a fake friend.

That's horrible. People can be very evil sometimes. But as a friend just said whenever you do good it'll come back to you in some way. The same goes for bad...whenever you do bad it'll get back to you in some ways or another. So sorry to hear about your bad experience.
