Happy 3rd of May

United States
May 3, 2021 7:30am CST
The sky is growling. Growling because it really sounds like someone rolling down their trash barrels but since it's not Trash day, it must be the sky. Maybe the sky is hungry? It's a rainy off and on day so all exercises will be inside. I probably could take a short walk, but I don't think I want to risk it. I may get up and dance too. So far, my plan is to do 250 steps per hour as is recommended by fitbit. Weird dreams last night, but then when are they not? What's your plans for this Monday? (or whenever you see this)

Yes, to keep fit they recommend to do 250 step per hour every hour.

I believe it takes the average person only five to eight minutes to complete this as well. My fitbit watch will remind me to stand up and walk at every :50 of the hour. However, I've set a timer for a few minutes prior and will try to walk more.

@LadyDuck Absolutely. It helps our blood flow, our joints flex and stretch. I am far too sedentary and am trying to prevent that.

@ScribbledAdNauseum It should not take more than 8 minutes and it is surely good for our body.

@Tina30219 Yeah, but maybe I can get more steps in tomorrow. I am going to go to a different dollar tree so I can go to the michael's right beside it. Not sure I'll buy anything, but I might look at their yarn, pattern books and hooks.

We didn't even wake up with sun. It was overcast. Perfect to sleep in, but you know how that goes. It never works quite like we hope.

@wolfgirl569 Ours varies, sometimes it's as early as 5 AM. Most of the time it's 8 AM. We live in a large neighborhood.

I hate when my fitbit signals that it's time to get in those 250 steps Are you still doing the Keto diet?

Yep, still doing keto. I would like to look into carb cycling so I can understand that more, but I'm not yet at my preferred weight to really do that. My fitbit malfunctioned yesterday. It celebrated 12,000 steps and then changed it to 4,000. 12,000 is my step goal for the day.

@Marilynda1225 I watch Thomas Delauer sometimes. I know he has carb cycling videos but I haven't viewed any of those. I think I've heard of Chris Powell. I just need to get these stubborn pounds off my belly.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I'm familiar with carb cycling but have never really tried it. Have you ever heard of Chris Powell ( he's a trainer) and he's helped lots of people lose tons of weight with carb cycling. Wow you're really doing good with your steps. I just started wearing my fitbit again .

Hoping it clears up enough for the walk and just online and inhome work. I wanted to continue working in my room, but there is a sinkful of dishes. That probably needs to take priority.

The last time I checked, I think it's supposed to clear out of here by 5 or 7 pm. Whether it heads North, or where it'll head I don't know. I'm trying to stay away from my desk too.

Oh those are no fun! Mine are strewn over the month. There's only two that I pay directly instead of letting them be debited.

It stormed here too. I had to go to several places yesterday. It did clear up later on.

No plans is good though. I'm a homebody myself. Lucky to have friends who know if Amber has disappeared she's just having to take some time to herself.
