In my view a fisherman who was at the right place at the right time in Washington County New York could be called a Guardian Angel after he rescued two young boys from drowning when one of two children who are 10 years of age fell off of a kayak at Cossayuna Lake and was in danger of drowning. While of the ten year old boys struggled to stay afloat in the lake by hanging on to the capsized boat, the other boy could not assist his friend get to shore. The fisherman then took action by taking the boat he was riding on toward the direction where the children were in the lake, pick them up and take them to shore safe and sound. The reason I believe that the fisherman in a Guardian Angel is because he simply walked away without giving away his name or why did he save the children from drowning in a lake to the media or anyone for that matter. I just wonder where the parents or an adult supervisor were at this time?

@Deepizzaguy What a nice thing the fisherman did. That is a good question on why were they alone?

@Hannihar That is a possible scenario of an adult being there and he or she was distracted.

@Deepizzaguy That is a good question to ask? Maybe an adult was around and just turned for a second and then it happened. I have no idea. I am glad that the fisherman saved them.

I don't think I'd let two 10-year-olds take out a kayak unsupervised.

10 year old boys are too young to be in a kayak without any adult supervision.

That's the kindness of that fisherman who saved them. It's surprising how these kids came to the lake and went in to it and there was no adult with them.

That is what I am thinking on where were the adults or parents to watch these kids?

He was certainly a guardian angel. Some parents do seem very casual as regards looking out for their children.

You are right about parents giving their children too much freedom doing dangerous activities. My belief that the fisherman is an angel is that he left the area quickly.

There are guardian angels all around. Thank goodness for this man's willingness to help. It does make you wonder about the parents.

I wonder where the parents were myself since I do not believe that 10 years of age is not old enough to row a kayak.

Has it been mentioned anywhere why the children were alone? The parents should be punished for their neglect.

That is a good question if the parents were around or not.
