I remember Dustin never liked brussel sprouts. He just would not eat them. He didn't like how they smelled and said they were just tiny cabbages.
One day I cut them in half, roasted them in the oven with olive oil and sea salt. He tried them and loved them.
It is a recipe I still use. I really like the olive oil and salt combination. They almost taste a little sweet and salty at the same time.
Enjoy your evening everyone. Today has been a beautiful day.
Photo is mine.

When our kids were little, I cooked some liver and gravy. They tried it and didn't like it. Then they were upset that I hadn't told them what it was and I said, "You didn't ask." From then on they wouldn't eat anything unless they were sure what it was!

@1creekgirl I was raised in a house where you ate the food on your plate, so I tried that with my kids, after hours of staring at the food they didn't like, I gave up lol Evidently my kids have more stamina than I do!!

@BelleStarr That's funny. Kids can be stubborn. How's Al doing?

Yeah. Hopefully it sticks. I could never get used to a taste like that.

Mmm, sounds good. You've inspired me to try it. My neighborhood store Marukai I'm has loose brussel sprouts. How long & what temperature to roast brussel sprouts?

Yum! Yes, brussel sprouts are overzealous cabbages, so you have to like the taste of cabbage. I can’t eat a lot of them but a few are quite good.

My daughter loves brussel sprouts and I'm with Dustin on the smell and not fond of them. I wish I liked them because they do look good.

I love Brussels sprouts. You should taste the ones from Longhorn or Red Lobster. They put honey or something with them and then roast then or fry them in a pan. I'm not sure which; but boy are they good.
