Are you concerned?

I saw this warning! Are you concerned? Should we be? It seems we're in a fight for our lives. I know some think it is all an exaggeration and that a lot of the news is fake but those that have been affected and have lost family, friends and neighbors have a different point of view. From my point of view, things don't look good. I look at the news and keep what the Bible has to say in mind at the same time. The Bible foretold difficult times and called that time, the last days. Jesus foretold that the good news of the kingdom would be proclaimed world-wide and then the end would come. Could we be living at that time? What are your thoughts?
Nearly 18 months into the global pandemic, infections across the world are now 'accelerating faster than ever', Dr David Nabarro warned.

I also wonder if we are in the middle of a very dark period and maybe the end times. I just keep my eyes on Jesus.

I think the news is hyped. Less deaths in India than in the United States. In fact, it's nearly half and India has 5 times the population. Fake news.

I appreciate your thoughts! Many of us have found that our beliefs and our hope helps to to cope and keep going until better days and times arrive.

I also think that this virus may end our species as it's killing people at a very fast pace.

While this virus is a huge concern, since some can have the virus with no symptoms and some only slight symptoms it is not a threat that could end humanity. In fact, only God could end humanity and he has no intention of doing that. The way governments have handled the virus has shown that there is something seriously wrong with humans running the earth. Human governments don't have what it takes to be in charge of planet earth. So, the worse is coming. However, the good news is that God has a solution and it is in action now and will eventually take control of the earth and end all evils, problems and suffering.

It depends on the day if I am doom and gloom or having some hope. Any day though I know the Lord Jesus is my Rock.

Yes, some days are up and some are down. I do think that we are getting closer to the day when something really dramatic will happen which will be good news.

It's very frustrating, no matter how much we had to endure

Yes, the times and the conditions are very frustrating. But as they say: hope helps us to cope!

No, I am not concerned. I understand science and medicine. This is just how things work. Things may not be as grim as the news wants you to think. So, listening to it constantly, isn't healthy. Because you don't know what is, or isn't true. Not unless you're personally being affected.
