Good morning everyone. I was up early this morning. Al and I had breakfast and then Jack arrived at 8 am. Kasey has Red Sox's tickets today and she and her friend are heading to Boston for the day.
Irene will be here in a while to go through the books. I am excited to do more work on my own this weekend.
We are getting together for Mother's Day at my son Jason's. I ordered a strawberry rhubarb pie from Goldbelly shipped from Maine. Everyone is bringing something for the meal. It is the first time we will all be together since 2019. Can't wait. Last year I spent Mother's Day in Florida without my kids.
Al is still a little fuzzy but so much better, his balance is still off but I expect that to improve as well.
I have had a cup of coffee and I think I need more. I hope everyone has a great day. It is sunny here today which is a real treat after all the rain.

Good morning to you. 
I am sure that the 2 of you will get lots of sorting done today, it sounds like you are enjoying it.
Its great that Al's health is evening out again, that is so important.
Enjoy the time that you spend with your family this coming weekend.
I asked our son if we could put gathering off a little bit longer, Dad and I get our first shots next week, and he hasn't had his as of yet. His mother-in-law had hers and she is a divorced lady, so I think that it is more important for our son and daughter-in-law to spend the day with her, as I have my hubby here. Its not the same, but it has to suffice for now.

I am glad your vaccines are coming up. it feels a lot safer once you're done. We ate out twice yesterday both inside restaurants. Now granted no one was close to us but it felt normal for the first time in a year. Can't you meet outside with your son for a walk or something? Sending hugs!!

The new case counts are still too high for them to reopen in a couple of weeks.
We have to stay the course, and we are diligent about that.
I want more then anything to spend time with our son and daughter-in-law, but I am too afraid of the germs. It breaks my heart, but right now I am trying to stay away and stay home. Hopefully in July, when its my birthday, we can gather safely outside......time will tell.

At least you are getting rain. We've had it in the forecast but it's started in the clouds or stayed just south of us. The clouds have liked menacing enough but we've only had a few sprinkles other than one night that I did hear a gentle rain through the screen.
I work mother's day but hope to see my daughter after I get out of work and after she puts the baby down for the night.

@BelleStarr No, I have two daughters but only the one has a child of her own and I bought her a gift. It ended up that both girls got me a couple of things too.

I haven't had strawberry rhubarb pie in years. Before I moved here to PA there was a place in NJ that was a big orchard and they had a bakery where they sold pies. They had the best strawberry rhubarb pie.
Have a good day even though it sounds pretty busy. Glad that Al is doing better

I am glad you will be together for Mother's Day. Enjoy it. I hope Al improves more and more each day. I have been up early most days during the week and look forward to Friday and Saturday. Friday is cleaning day and getting ready for our Sabbath and Saturday is the actual day and no work and Sunday back to what I have to do.

You are very sweet. i did not even hear them when they landed in Jerusalem. It was not near me. What makes me angry is that the People in the South suffer all the time from them and something has to be done other than going in and out all the time. That is not the answer.
