Do you ever watch the Great British Baking Show?

That is one of my favorite programs. I watch it usually on Netflix. There is something really calming and relaxing about watching a program that has nothing to do with pandemics or crazy game shows, or murder or comedies. It is just about the combination of art, science and chemistry that is baking(with a bit of comic relief) It reminds me there are other things in the world besides what we see everyday. I also like it because it is British, and doesn't have the over the top characters that you see in American reality programs. It is a great show in my opinion.

I've always enjoyed the cooking shows. I agree that it's a great distraction from what's going on in the world.
I also like Top Chef

@LadyDuck Yeah, maybe. I think you can subscribe to Sky TV here and get the European shows, but I am not sure about that.

@snowy22315 We do not get the American and British shows, I suppose it is too expensive to translate for the local languages.

I don't have Netflix, but you're right. there's so much good things in life other than what we see.

Yes, I like shows that are relaxing with no real agenda sometimes...other than to maybe find the best baker. It is a warm and fuzzy show really.

I find it enjoyable. It is good to watch a real and not fake show. At least as real as TV can be.
