What a Day!

Hello everyone! I just came from my 2 hours walking to the city and back home this late afternoon. It was not a plan for me to walk to the city today. I had to vent off my negative emotions through walking. I was annoyed that something planned was cancelled shortly when I was already ready to go out. Oh, well. I am okay now.
The day started well. I prepared lunch for Mother’s Day as my son came. We have not seen him for 2 weeks so it was great that he was with us for a few hours. He could have stayed a bit longer but I had an appointment which should not be postpone because of the nice weather (27C and sunny). It was cancelled though and that annoyed me that I went off walking alone this afternoon.
Anyway, I should only count the lovely hours that I spent with my husband and son and nothing else. Our son brought me white orchids and 2 packages of Lindt chocolates. We talked a lot about this and that and some memories that we have.
While walking for 2 hours nonstop, I passed through our city park and took some photos of rhododendron and violet flowers. As you can see in the photo. I just put a text on it.
How about you? How’s your Sunday and Mother’s Day? I hope everything is fine with you. Thank you for reading. I am going to drink the creamy tea that hubby made for me, seeing that I am already calm. See you later in your post.

I am glad you used walking to wash away the negative emotions. I also do this and it helps a lot. I'm glad you were able to spend time with your son.
I woke up and took a walk as well. I thought my park did not open until 9 Am but the gate was open at 8 when I arrived so i walked.

Yes, walking really helps a lot. I am thankful for the hours that he was with us.
I have read in your post that you were walking, too. Our city park has no gate and we can visit it any time we want. Thank you @ScribbledAdNauseum. Have a nice Sunday.

@thelme55 The parks here have hours of operation. The city runs all the parks and keeps them clean and supplied.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I see. The parks here are also run by the city gardeners and they are clean.

Walking is a good way to work off stress/anger. I don't think I could walk for 2 hours but it sounds like you had a good tour of the city and park Sorry that your Mothers Day was a bit disappointing.
My Mothers Day was okay. Quiet compared to previous years.

Yes, walking is a good way @Marilynda1225. It was indeed a good tour. I am okay after that walk. I am proud of myself that I can still walk for hours without taking a break. Of course, I was tired after that.
I am glad that your Mother's Day was okay.

@thelme55 I wish I could walk for a long distance but my knees are shot so I'm only able to do short distances. I remember how much I loved to walk.

@Marilynda1225 I see. I am grateful that I can still walk long distance. My hubby can’t anymore that is why I am walking with my friend.

Good that you had a good time with your son and husband. And walking or any form of exercise definitely helps to get away with negative emotions. Lovely blooms there.
I had a good day with my girls and a long video chat with my mom.

Glad to hear you're fine now despite what happened. Hope you have a great day ahead of you. Walking really helps aside from its healthy benefits, it could give you time to reflect on things.
