Happy Mother’s Day mommies.
I have read from too many quotes that you don’t have to give birth to be a mother. So i asked Siri to define the word Mother to me and she gave me three definitions:
1. As a noun, a woman in relation to her child or children.
2. As a verb , bring up a child with care and affection
3. This is a dated terrm as a verb it means give birth too.
Those were Siri’s exact words and i just listened to her as she stated those three. Second definition i think is the best definition. It’s an act of caring for and giving affection to a child.
With this I’d like to celebrate all those people who lovingly cared for children whether it be their own or not! You are awesome!

I was actually working and Mother’s Day is really something that we don’t celebrate.

@LadyDuck thats’ why we never celebrated Mother’s Day here coz it falls on a Sunday. And Sunday is when I’m busy at work and when the day ends, I’m just too exhausted that i want to just lay in bed and watch something on tv.

@toniganzon I am sorry you had to work. Mother's Day was not a big celebration also in Italy. We celebrated with both our mothers, because it is always on Sunday and it is always more or less the same day of my husband birthday, so we celebrated both events.
