Question: What doesn't sit well with you?

My friend is asking me to have coffee in a coffee shop. I politely told her that it doesn't sit well with me. She seems so comfortable being always out and having coffee with her friends. I randomly saw the photos on her FB wall. Not to hurt her feelings, I just can't go out because some stuff needs to be handled at home. So I turned down her idea. How about you, guys? We cannot sit inside a coffee shop, they are still closed because of Covid. At most we can sit outside.

@Shavkat I am surprised that you are allowed to sit inside a coffee shop, here both the coffee shop owner and the clients are fined if they are found inside.

Sounds good, only if there's no pandemic.. but for now we should stay at home as much as possible.. Take extra precautions when going out only if needed..

Dine in is not allowed here, so that's not an option as well. Even if it's allowed, I would think a lot before agreeing. It might not be really safe.

Some of the restaurants are opened here now. However, I am not comfortable being inside of them. I have been doing this since the lockdown.

no. As for coffee, I will have my cup of coffee at home. I seldom go to coffee shops. And much less drink it with my friends.

It is not my thing, too. Even when I was still working in my previous companies, I am always on the go. I always rejected the idea of having a cup of coffee in coffee shops.
