Trimmed the Nandina Shrubs

Finally got the Nandina shrubs trimmed in the front garden. They have been a little neglected due to the birds and bunnies.
Not difficult at all to trim. They are in the bamboo family, making them easy to maintain.
Now the bushes look brand new. They had so much new growth underneath, even with this much cut, in the photo, they are still big bushes. All new growth. Ready to start growing again.
Spring is such a happy time and offers much hope and renewal. Now I will enjoy these trimmings inside for a few days.

Nice quote, doesn't really sound like him. I don't think I have heard of Nandina.

@CarolDM No, I have no idea either.. It just doesn't sound like something he would say. I am not a Vonnegaut expert though..I am sure he did..It is a good quote.

that is a great quote (Vonnegut is from Indianapolis there is a museum there dedicated to him in his old house)!!!!

Love the quote from Kurt. And thank you, from your picture I now know what those bushes are that I see around. I need to get out boxwood bushes trimmed. There is always something to do inside and out. Thankful for the health to do it. Have a blessed evening.
