The loud sound of a siren....

... will be heard every time the clock ticks at 9 in the evening here in the place where I live. Curfew hours is again set to earlier time from 9 in the evening to 4 in the morning. This is part of the newly modified local executive order limiting the movement of people because of the repeat surge of Covid19 infection here. It was also reported that two cases are from another variant. Vaccination was started last month prioritizing the medical front liners and as of this time, they're currently vaccinating senior aged people.

We're really looking after that. However, it depends on also the availability of the vaccine. Right now, the supply can't cover yet the largest population in short period of time.

@ZedSmart Are other countries sending you what they can? I think the US was attempting to send some to other countries, but I haven't kept up with that. The last I checked, about 38% of our population is vaccinated.

Curfews hardly work. They need to speed up the vaccination rollout.

@ZedSmart good to know. I do not qualify to any of the groups for vaccination (A1 to A3). I guess I belong to A4 but even that is a stretch.

Vaccines are really needed this time. Here in our place they're currently vaccinating the senior citizens after the medical front liners.

A siren, really? We had, we called it "police hours" between 9 pm and 6 am. For me, it was very limiting, because I'm used to going wherever and whenever I want. The first day this measure was abandoned I went for a walk at 4.30 am.

This is to remind people that it's curfew time and no one is ever allowed to go out beyond the time set.
