How is the gas situation around you?

Somebody posted yesterday that the Shell station that is well known in this area was out of gas. I had just gone by there before she posted that, and didn't see any signs or anything. I guess they must have had labels on the pumps though. I know the other closest station to me has gone up 20 cents in price. The first of many price hikes I fear. Hopefully, this cyber situation will be resolved soon. Actually, I just went to FB and stations in this area are running out of gas..Great!

Yes, I am sure. I guess you have heard the US was hit by a cyber attack on one of the major supply pipelines here. It supplies gas to the East coast.

@Butterfingers YW, the gas situation is getting bad here. I was just on FB and stations all over are running out of gas..yikes.

Things seem to be mostly normal here, although Costco was a lot busier than normal when I stopped to get gas yesterday. I thought it was just the timing but maybe it's related to that. Prices don't seem to be affected so far... the Circle Ks are still offering the same prices they have for the last few weeks, and Costco's price (usually the best in the area) has dropped a bit since the last time I filled up. It was $2.89 which is a bit lower than average since everything here started reopening.

We had to go to three gas stations yesterday. Finally we found some gas. They only had premium.

I am sure alot. I am probably going to need gas tomorrow as I have to go into town. I was going to go the Shell station as I can get discounts there. I better call first and see what their gas situation is.

We were warned that there’d be price increases. “Shortage of tanker drivers” (where there wasn’t one six months ago) and “cyber attack” are getting the blame so the politicians don’t have to absorb the blame. I must say, a brilliant move on their part.

I'm not sure about the gas situation in my country but the prices are high
