I've started a new plan of attack. Same Paleo diet I've been on for several years now, lower calories. My goal is 300 calories per meal. When I figure in the calories burned, it looks impressive. Wake-up weight: 186.8 After Exercise Weight: 185.4 Calories burned: Swimming - 160 Elliptical - 132 Stationary Bike - 62 Leg Press - 58 Total burned - 412 Calories consumed: Breakfast 1 Cara Cara Orange - 80 2 Eggs - 140 1 Slice Turkey Bacon - 45 Total - 265 Snack 1 Whole Cucumber - 30 Lunch 2 Tilapia - 180 4 Servings Riced Cauliflower - 100 Total - 280 Supper 1 Cod - 80 1 Potato - 110 2 Serv. Ketchup - 20 Total - 210 Grand Total - 785 Calories Calories burned - 412 Total - 373 I kept each meal under 300 calories. With what I burned, it made it very good. My weight this morning is looking even better. As you can see, I've gained weight. My lowest before surgery last year was 170. I'm trying to get back to that and continue from there. So far, so good. Are you struggling with your weight? What are you doing to lose? How are you doing with diet and exercise? Thanks for reading. Image courtesy of Pixabay.

I am struggling with my weight. I wish I could do the exercising but right now it's not allowed. I haven't put on any weight but I can't lose any weight.

I’m sure eating 300 calories per meal should help. Good luck. I know you can do it.

Thank you. So far, it is. I'm drinking tea to bridge the gap between meals and cut down my hunger.

I was saying that I forgot to weight myself this morning, but today is not Sunday. Holidays during the week are confusing.

I'm sure you'll be able to get the weight off and be back to 170 quickly. Your day looks good with your meals and numbers. I'm trying to drop some extra pounds and have started counting calories. Wearing my FItbit and trying to increase my steps. Some days my knees don't complain so I can get in those extra steps. Other days, not so much

@just4him I'm just using the Fitbit as a guide even if it's not 100% accurate. At least it gives me an idea of what I'm doing. I haven't counted calories in years and thought I'd give it a try. I've done Weight Watchers and counted points but I wanted to do something different and of course free

Thank you. I hope so too. Counting calories helps. I know I did better before when I counted as well as doing the exercise. I'm back at it. I'm just not wearing my Fitbit. It didn't seem accurate when I was wearing it. I hope the Fitbit works better for you than it did for me. Good luck losing the extra weight.

@Marilynda1225 Free is always good. I've thought about putting the Fitbit back on now that spring is here and get those steps when I hit the trail again, which will happen soon.

Thank you. I hope so too. I'm coming down even from yesterday's weight, so it's working. Now, if I don't get too hungry between meals, that will be good.

No struggles here except not much of an appetite. Enjoy your day.
