Heaven sent? Maybe

I had just gotten home from work and was talking to hubby. A stranger pulled up out front and came to the door. He wanted to know if our Dixon mower, which he could see from the street, was for sale. He needed parts for his and did not know where to find them. Well, we could help him out, not by selling ours to him but by telling him where to get parts and service. He helped hubby out. Bob had not been able to get access to put on a new belt, but this man was able to show him how. Co incidence? Heaven sent? Helpful, yes. Hubby had the gas tank off, also, to put new hoses on. Soon he should be riding high, mowing the lawn, if the rain stops. We are also going to put the mower somewhere not visible from the street, to keep unsavory people from noticing it.

Your stranger wasn't an unsavory person. He was an angel in disguise. Long, long ago, I used to like a perfume by Helena Rubenstein that was called Heaven Scent.

I worry about people driving by slooooowly and gaping at what we have in our yard. I would like to take some time away from home and visit my sister near the beach in NH. But, I worry about people tampering or taking things that belong to us. Yay on getting your mower fixed. Ours runs, but I am not going to jump on it to mow the lawn. I'll leave that up to the hubby when he gets home on the weekends. I would probably run into the trailer!!

Hubby is still tinkering with this. I am willing to push mow, he is not, so he can ride it. We are kind of too close to a couple of highways and stuff could be tempting, but we have not had any trouble so far.

I hope you find a safe spot to park the mower when not in use. Isn't it wonderful when people out of the blue show up, I believe God puts them on our path when we need them.
