Completed a survey but didn't my SB

I took a very long survey on Swagbucks today and was able to complete it but the SB was not credited to me. Very frustrating and disappointing. Not only did I spend a lot of time on the survey but it offered a high SB amount for it, which I didn't get. That's why I hate taking very long surveys...
I wrote support about it and will see what happens. I don't remember the survey saying that the SB doesn't credit right away. Maybe that's the case. Otherwise, the only other reason I can think of is that the time it took to complete the survey was longer than allowed, if they even have a maximum time allowed for each survey.
Fingers crossed that I will get credited the SB in the end...

@lovebuglena Yes I understand..they have cheated me for a very long time, so now I just do the poll,,and search, Like you, they never give me credit for shopping or much else either so I am tired of contacting..I really dont like them

@RebeccasFarm Oh man! That's screwed up. I am gonna keep at it though. It's working for me most of the time. I don't remember ever having an issue where SB for a survey was not credited to me, aside from this time, and another time when I got disconnected from a very long survey.

Maybe could just be some glitches. We don't have Swagbucks here so am not familiar with their policy. Yougov is one good site. One fine they were delayed in crediting to PayPal and they compensated me with points equivalent to one full survey.

Good thing you were credited those points. One time, I spent a long time on a survey and then something happened and there was an error and I could not complete the survey. And refreshing the page didn't work. I never got that SB.

@lovebuglena that occured to me too with one survey site. I answered for about 10 minutes and suddenly an error occured.

When you start a servey, it will typically tell you how long it should take. If you take longer, it often doesn't count and you don't get rewarded.

What I find on Swagbucks is that the time displayed next to a survey is not necessarily the time the survey actually is. Like in the list it will tell you one time but when you go into the survey it tells you a totally different time.

On another site I am on, the study may be a 5-min one, for example, but the amount of time you are allowed to complete it is way more than 5 minutes. I would assume Swagbucks would have the same thing. Not everyone completes the same survey in exactly the same amount of time. Some need more time than others to complete surveys.

I also hope that you receive credit for completing that long survey since it happens to me as well when I do surveys on some sites. The problem is usually corrected quickly though.

Most of the time if I get disqualified it is right away or within a few minutes. But there have been times where I got disqualified after spending a lot of time on them and I was not happy about that.
